Spotless Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park will be the new home ground of the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS.

The GIANTS and Spotless announced a five year naming rights partnership today for the Sydney Showgrounds (previously known as Skoda Stadium).

The announcement was made at Spotless Stadium as tickets went on sale to GIANTS Members for the Battle of the Bridge against the Swans on March 15.

Spotless is an Australian-owned, managed and operated integrated services company providing cleaning, catering, laundry services, facilities management and non-core business support to Australia and New Zealand markets.

The company employs 33,000 people and provides services to private and public sector clients within health, education, leisure, sports and entertainment, defence, government, business and industry, resources and laundries.

Spotless CEO Bruce Dixon said it had a long and successful association with AFL and sporting stadiums across Australia and New Zealand.

“Our relationship with Greater Western Sydney GIANTS will allow us to enjoy a greater connection to local communities and demonstrates Spotless’ commitment to Sydney and the NSW region,” Mr Dixon said.

“We are excited to be partnering with the young and dynamic GIANTS team and look forward to expanding our stadia portfolio with the inclusion of Spotless Stadium and sharing future successes together.”

GIANTS Chairman Tony Shepherd said the club was delighted to welcome Spotless to the GIANTS’ family.

"Spotless is a proudly owned Australian company that employs thousands of Australians and is a great local success story," Mr Shepherd said.

“This partnership is a great endorsement the GIANTS and our stadium which was voted by fans as offering the best match day experience of any stadium in the AFL.

"We are also firmly of the belief that Spotless Stadium delivers the best fan experience in Australia and we want to see our first ever sell-out for the Battle of the Bridge here on March 15."

The Battle of the Bridge at Spotless Stadium will be the first time the Sydney Derby has been played at the stadium since the GIANTS entered the AFL in 2012.

Tickets go on sale to GIANTS members today at www.ticketmaster.com.au and to the general public from 9am on Friday February 14.

The GIANTS will play eight Toyota AFL Premiership matches at Spotless Stadium in 2014 including matches against Collingwood, Essendon, Geelong, Carlton, Richmond, Adelaide and Melbourne.
