The GIANTS have today received pick 135 in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft from Carlton in exchange for forward Rhys Palmer.

The foundation GIANT played 69-games with the club over the past five years to take his career tally to 122 games after debuting for Fremantle in 2008.

The 27-year old kicked 13 goals in 12 games for the GIANTS this year in addition to being a member of the GIANTS’ NEAFL Premiership side.

GIANTS General Manager Football Wayne Campbell said: “Rhys was one of the first players to sign with the GIANTS and we thank him for his contribution to the club.

“We wish him well in the next chapter of his football career.”
