The GIANTS have today received a future second round pick in the 2017 NAB AFL Draft from Collingwood’s in exchange for forward Will Hoskin-Elliott.

The 23-year old Hoskin-Elliott played 52 games in his five seasons with the GIANTS having joined the club as the fourth selection in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.

Hoskin-Elliott struggled with injury in 2016 playing only two AFL games this season before playing a key role in the GIANTS’ NEAFL Premiership.

GIANTS General Manager Football Wayne Campbell said: “Will expressed a desire to explore his options and we’ve come to a mutually beneficial agreement with Collingwood.

“We thank Will for his commitment to the GIANTS over the last five years and wish him the very best for the future.”
