Clint Johnson is a fanatical GIANTS supporter.

He’s a Foundation Member, President of the GIANTS Perth Supporters Group and the proud owner of the best man cave we’ve ever seen.

12 GIANTS jumpers line the walls, while orange and charcoal memorabilia fill every nook and cranny of the 36 square meter shed.

“I installed it around nine years ago, it’s in the backyard and turning it into a man cave been my project since the beginning,” he said.

“It’s close to finished, one more off-season and I should get it done.

“If I can get my hands on an AFLW signed jumper I’m more than happy to add it to the collection as my daughter is a proud foundation member.”

Despite living in the heart of Fremantle and West Coast territory and the GIANTS debuting in 2012, it didn’t take Johnson long to start decorating the interior with GIANTS gear.

“I saw the GIANTS as an opportunity to be a part of something from the beginning so I became a member,” he said.

“I’ve been on a few footy trips over the years, the most recent being our Qualifying Final win over Sydney.

“This year I’m stepping it up a bit, I’ll be in Adelaide for round one then also bringing a group of interstate fans over for round 8 against Collingwood.

“I can’t wait to get this season going, I think we are every chance of going one step further this season.”

Despite having - in our opinion - the best man cave in the entire world, Johnson doesn’t watch every game from behind the bar.

Even with a home brew on tap, Johnson is more likely to be found with other Perth GIANTS on game day.

“I started the Perth GIANTS supporter group last year after the GIANTS ran an article on building supporter groups around the country, so I put my hand up,” he said.

“We’re still small but we had a great crowd for the Preliminary Final so I’m hoping to build on that.

“But if I’m not at the game or at our supporters group base at the Inglewood Hotel then I’m in the shed watching the GIANTS.”

As for Johnson’s wife – who doesn’t follow football at all – she doesn’t mind the man cave.

“I think my wife likes it as it stops me from yelling at the TV inside the house,” he said.

“And my mates, well they must like it because they are in here a lot.”
